Anyway, we hurried to Alanya, we were both super excited, we are Alanya lovers and I guess we always will be. Halil drove me to the Atatürk statue, where I met with Ida, OF COURSE:-) We had not seen each other for about 1 year, but when we met it was like no time had passed at all. My Alanya nights are really not that interesting to write about, cause they are pretty much all the same every time. This time we woke up in the car, by police knocking on the door. They asked me if I could understand Turkish, and I said yes, then they asked if Halil was bothering me or if I wanted to be there :P I got this really "Gaziantep" flashback, cause I got the same question there. I said he was my fiancèe, and then they looked in the back, where Ida was sleeping, and asked where we found her ! I could not do anything other than laughing. The next couple of night we stayed at a really great luxury hotel, everyone in Alanya knows it, it is called BABA OTEL, and it felt like a real walk of shame every time I went out that door. I wonder what the reception people must have though, Halil staying there with 2 girls. It IS a whore-hotel after all. And walking in and out from Baba otel is not exactly something one would feel really good about. It screams of "YOU HAD A ONE NIGHT STAND".. Even if you didnt.
Anyway, we took our hangovers and decided to relax at Dim Cayi. We had a nice breakfast, almost fell asleep, then me and Halil went for a swim. And Dim Cayi water is cold as ice, cause it is mountain water, but I must say that taking a dip with a bad hangover in cold cold water, is better than any Aspirin. I love spending lazy days at Dim Cayi, it's refreshing, relaxing, and it takes every piece of hangover away.
If this is not paradise, I don't know what is!:-)
After this, me and Halil went back to the fantastic Baba otel to shower and change clothes, and we picked up Ida at Ugurs place again, and took a trip up to the castle with some bbbbira. After that we went to Casablanca where we met Sandra, which I dont really remember all that well.
We were also at Robin Hood, which ended up with me getting a black eye, from some drunkie who fell and smasked her elbow in my face. Little uncomfortable, but I survived ;P
The trip went to Lunapark as well, and I hate both Ida and Halil for making me take this Adrenaline or what ever the name was, I thought I was gonna die cause the belts were not tight fastened, and to be honest, it broke my whole night !
We also got answer on our visa application while we were in Alanya. Halil went to wash the car, and me and Ida went to an internet cafe to wait, it had only been 8 days since we applied, so I didn't really expect an answer, but I checked his epost anyway.. Then I froze, "visa@udi.no" it said. I was terrified of opening it, but I eventually did, and steeled myself for a NO! But there it was.. "You have been granted a visa". I cannot explaine the feeling that went through me then. And people on the street must think I thought I was being chased by invisible people, cause I ran, and I mean RAN, to the nearest marked to buy a phone card to call my mom, my dad, my siser, and Halil, who didnt even believe me until he saw the epost himself. And the epost was sent the day before, so our visa application only took 1 week, which surprised us both very much. We went to Ida's apartment to celebrate, and then we started talking about going back to Marmaris, and our travel route. I wanted to see more of Turkey than I had, and we had my tax money.. Originally it was gonna be just me and Halil, but I asked Ida if she wanted to come, and she did:-)
Then we went on, and I am sorry if all of this is not in the right order, cause as I said, I dont remember the names of all the places we went, 18 places is a lot to remember, and I dont really remember which one we were at before the other ones.
But anyway, we went to a Waterplanet about 45 minutes driving from Alanya. And it was GREAT! I loved it, we didn't bring the camera for obvious reasons, it was too much water, but it was so much fun. My ears were totally plugged when we came out of there. We only got to be there about an hour before they closed, but since we came so late, we got in at half price, which was good for our budget! Ida didnt take any slides, just me and Halil. And to be honest, the best part of that Waterplanet was the cold shower afterwards;)
We moved on cause we were going to see some place in Manavgat where he has pictures from on Facebook. On our way there we got stopped by some guy with a camel, a donkey and a small sweet little monkey. Now I am not a fan of people having monkeys in leach, I actually hate it. But we hold it and took a picture of it anyway, because in my oppinion the guy who had it was not so nice. The monkey was so sweet, and it hold mine and Halil's finger and cuddled us, and then Ida was gonna hold it, and it bit her:P
I wanted to take the monkey and run. The guy said we could sit on the donkey and the camel for 20 lira, but I am not gonna pay money to break the back of a donkey with all my kilos! ;P
We got in the car and kept on driving to the place we were going, and when we got there, well, it was as nice as in the pictures he showed me. Ice cold mountain water, it was close to a waterfall too, so it was hard to stand in the water cause of the stream. But it looked like it came right out of a travel cataloge, so beautiful!

After we had been there, we continued to Antik Side. We discussed whether or not we would go to Side also, but we decided that it was no point, we had schedual and we wanted to see places there was actually something to see.
Antik Side was great. Many old buildings, stuff like that fascinates me very much. And there was this one house for sale, which said "Beautiful stone home with 855m2 garden" 855m2 garden? Like all Antik Side then? To this day I do not know if it was a joke or not! We walked around for a while, just looking and buildings and other shops, before we turned to the car, cause we had one goal, and that was to get to Kemer for disco before it got to late. We we almost at the car when we saw a parking guy writing out tickets for wrong parked cars, which ours was, he was right next to our car, so we ran, got into the car and drove like hell. No ticket for us ! Hihi! Oh and I have to say, on this trip, SO many people thought Halil was a tourist. They all spoke English and even German to him.. He is looking a little Asian so ;)

Then we moved on to Belek. At first I didn't really like Belek so much, cause it is Russian, Russian and Russian everywhere. But aside from that, Belek is really nice. On the way there we stopped for some food at one "Adana restuantant", Halil was denied access cause he didn't wear a t-shirt. When we had eaten, Ida went to buy cigarettes. I got in to the car and closed the door, and Halil just drove, he forgot about Ida! So we had to drive a little before we could turn, and when we came back we found one very confused Ida!
We went to Belek, and I have to admit that it was very nice there. Halil got a new best friend too, a dog who followed him wherever he went ;)
We didn't stay there long, only long enough to talke a walk and some pictures, so we could say that we have been there ;) But I liked it, except for the Russian part.. Sorry, but it's true.
We then drove to Antalya. Neither me nor Halil was really interested in parking and all of that stress after we spent about an hour getting OUT of Antalya last time we parked there, so we just drove. We didn't stop anywhere, but then something started happening to the car. It was shaking and pulling left, which made me panick. I told Halil to stop at a petrol station but no, he didn't do that. Cause we were going to Kemer so we could check out the discos.
Well, that was our main reason for going to Kemer, disco ! And boy was I dissappointed! Well, first Halil went to cut his hair, and me and Ida went to buy a beer in the mean time. We went to some Inferno or whatever the name was, and Halil met someone who said he would fix us in cause there was a guestlist of some kind. So we got in, and they asked what we wanted to drink. Efes, we said. They brought us a 0,33cl Efes each, and told us we needed to pay 20 for 1, + 40 for entry and it was too late to change our minds. I was SO pissed off. Then they said that it was because there would be some concert... The music was high, and we asked "who", he said "David Guetta"... Or so we thought. So then we agreed it was worth it.
Then David Guetta came out, only that it was not David Guetta, it was David VENDETTA, whom I have never heard about before.
It was so croweded, too crowded for my taste, so we left.
We didn't want to leave, so we went to another disco, until they told us that me and Ida could come in for free, but Halil needed to pay 20 TL because he was a boy, and after being robbed at the last disco, we setteled down at a bar instead. We had one beer each, and decided to find somewhere to sleep, which was not so expensive. We drove, then we saw someone who was stopping cars. It was the police with alcho-test. Halil had one beer 5 minutes before, so we were a little nervous. He got stopped, tested, and taken out of the car, where he spent a long time explaining that he just had 1 beer, and that it was 5 minutes ago. After a while they said OK, and let us drive. Then we finally found a cheap place to sleep, 25tl pr. person, and we fell alseep at once.
We left at 11:30, tired as hell all 3 of us, after just some hours of sleep. We were headed to Olympos, but I don't bother to write anything about that since I made one whole post about it. We had fun on the way there, we were singing and I must say that the nature around Turkey is so nice. Just rent a car and take a roadtrip if you are a Turkey-traveller and haven't dont that before. It is so much to see there if you dont just care about partying and tourist places! Really... :-)
Well, I dont know every place we went after Olympos, I dont remember the names and I dont remember where we were first. But we drove for a long time, and one of those times I was so angry at Halil for driving fast, at one point he was driving 180 km/h, I dont care if it is Turkey or China, I am not driving with someone when they are driving that fast. Our original plan was to drive from Alanya to Marmaris, but we found out that we wanted to go to Bodrum as well, so we pushed Marmaris to the next day.
We stopped in a little city named Kas. It was relaxing and beautiful, and I could definitely even STAY there for a couple of months. And, they had the best kebab I have ever tasted in my life. According to Halil, it was the only kebab from Adana that actually taste like it is from Adana.
We didn't stay long, cause we were planning on making it to Bodrum before 12. I went to Bodrum with the promise of seeing Lamborghinis and famous people.. I didnt see any famous people and definitely no Lamborghinis, which I am still bitter about :(
Anyway, we drove a little while, and stopped at some place where the mountain was splitted in half. Or something, Halil explained it to me but.. I needed my lences to see this, so I was gonna put them on. Stupid as I was. I had both eaten pepper with the food and hadn't washed my hands since we were swimming in Olympos so when I touched my eye it felt like someone put acid on it. Not to recommend.

Our next stop was Fethiye and Ölüdeniz.
I loved Fethiye too, it is really nice there, and definitely worth a visit.
Well, we were gonna swim in the dead sea, this was one of the things we were most excited about. So Halil parked the car, and we just threw of our clothes and jumped in the water. We were swimming for about 5 minutes before we went up (BORDUM BORDUM BORDUM), and when we came up this Turkish guy asked us why we were swimming so late. Halil explained that it was because we wanted to swim in the dead sea... And then we were told that we were swimming in the wrong sea, dead sea was 5 minutes away.
We were there, but we didn't bother to pay money just to swim in a sea.. No thanks.
But we walked around Fethiye a little, and it is very fascinating for me to see HOW different the tourist places are. None of the places I have been, has been remotely like Alanya. Party-wise, I mean. And that is good, there IS a reason why Alanya is my favorite in the winter time.
Then it was Bodrum time. But when we were gonna drive, something wrong happened to the car again. It refused to pass 30 km/h, it went so slow and we couldnt get it to go faster, we had to stop and check what was wrong, I was thinking it could be a flat tire, since my motorbike went that slow when I got one.. But after a little while, it went somewhat normal.
It was a LONG drive to Bodrum, and we cruised to Mugla also, but only for a quick peek. We drove and we drove, and in the end we actually thought we drove wrong, cause there was no signs saying "Bodrum" either. We thought about turning around and go to Marmaris, but we kept on going, and suddenly we came to some real luxury hotels, probably that's where all my famous promises were staying. :P
We parked the car and went around. Bodrum was so nice, really. I loved it, I would definitely want to go back there. I have never seen the sea more clear in my life, it has great life, without shitty drunk tourists running around without clothes, they always have famous people singing everywhere, I HEARD IT even ;D Hehe.. But not all eating places are for me. We went to buy a kebab, and I saw a cockroach in the kitchen, so I gave mine to Ida.
But I did not SEE any famous people, I hoped with all my heart and soul I would see someone from Arka Siradakiler, Rafet el Roman or Yusuf Guney, or at least a Lamborghini. But neither of them caught my eye. Very dissappointing;)
This night we didn't have money enough to sleep at any hotel, so we decided to sleep in the car, right outside of Bodrum. Halil was almost in coma, and if he drove back to Marmaris then, I probably wouldnt drive. It was very important that we were in Marmaris before 3-4, cause Halil needed to get his passport with his visa at the post office, and we were leaving that night, for Norway.
We opened the aircondition in the car, and slept.
Need I say that opening the aircondition in the car all night was not the most clever thing we could have done? When we woke up, the aircontition was off, and the battery was dead. Totally dead, and we did not have any cables either!!! I was in total panick ...
But one guy decided to help us, and he took Halil to buy cabel, which this man actually payed for.. He just wanted one thing in return; Ida...
I got so pissed off, is it not possible to do ANYTHING without wanting sex just cause we are scandinavians? Would he have said that had we been Turkish? I think not. I yelled at him, and he left.
We were in high speed to Marmaris. And when we came there, it was not so special for me and Halil, more for Ida I guess. For me and Halil it was like coming home from a holiday. In this time I thought I hated Marmaris, which I now realize I do not. But we went around in Marmaris and looked at various things before we sent Ida back to Alanya by bus, and we went to Norway.
This roadtrip was expensive, but I have to say that it was probably the best money I've ever spent, and I would do it again any day!
