I am now sitting alone at home celebrating that I am finally OFF antibiotics !!! :D About time, cause I have been on antibiotics since day 2 of my arrival. Not that I really can complain about that since it made me better, but it IS boring when everyone else can drink, and I can't.
Yesterday was great, seriously great... We had a really nice time, and at one moment we were just laying in bed and looking at each other. Doesn't seem so special but it was the feeling of love. We talked a little about marriage and stuff like that. Luckily I CAN actually send all the papers! I mailed a little back and forth with a woman at the place you are suppose to deliver these papers to, and she gave me info about what I needed and where to send it. She didn't say anything about copy of passport but I mailed again and asked and she said it wouldn't hurt, just I had to put a note that the name in my passport is no longer my registered name (my middle name, that is.. I changed it in 2009 but I haven't gotten a new passport since it is valid until 2018).. So this is great news for me. I am printing and copying here, and sending it with my friend when she goes to Norway, then she will post it for me:)
And today has been a great day too, we have done about nothing. I have made breakfast- as I always do, after that we have been in bed mostly. Like I previously said, our bedroom is the only place we have aircondition and it is COLD... And anyway we don't have television so all TV shows is being watched on the internet.
We had one problem though, our door. He went to the market to buy some things, and when he came back the door didn't open. I tried to open it from the inside but it didnt open at all, and he tried from the outside. I thought he was playing and had the key in the lock or something, and he thought I was playing and just had locked the door (cause I was irritated right before he left) so we were both yelling at each other and said to each other to stop playing cause it wasn't funny. In the end we both understood that the door really wouldn't open, so he had to kick it open... So now we don't have lock on the door, and we have to pay a lot to get a new one. But what can we do, we can not walk around having our door open, this IS Turkey. So I guess it was a very good idea to have this saving box...
We were saving for something, we didn't know what... If I had to go to the hospital, maybe honeymoon, maybe for going to Diyarbakir for Newroz, and also if something unexpected would happen. Like now. Well we are both broke as hell now, even when we put both our money together it's not enough. We have to save for house rent, and electric as well as food and if we wanna do something else. But this is not tourist life. I did not expect us to ever live a life as kings.. But everything costs now. SPECIALLY since we are getting married. But I am gonna ask my dad if he can just pay for the papers to be translated and stuff, and then I'll pay him back after I get Ikamet (since I don't SPEND those money, I just need them to show for my stay).. I don't expect him to say yes but if he does, great. If he can't borrow me them until the middle of March he still have to do it but he'll just have to take direct from my Ikamet money (He has them on his account so I won't spend it).. I'll always find a way :)
I miss my family quite a bit and I am looking SO forward to them coming ! I just hope they understand that I don't expect a party or anything, cause I think my dad was a little worried about that.. I don't expect that, I actually do not expect them to pay for anything, just be a part of my "original" wedding day. And my sister is coming too ! I don't know if both of them will be able to make it but I do hope so. My sister is not originally coming here to visit me, she is coming for holiday with her friend... But I'm sure I'll get to rock Marmaris with them at least one night.
Now, Efes, Patos & Abduction !
