But specially with Halil, they have always helped me as much as possible in all of my time in a Turkey relationship, they have helped me with money, with tickets, and in the end they helped me get Halil to Norway. They have never judged, never said anything negative about my relationships, and they are so interested in learning about Halil's culture and all of them has even learned a few Kurdish words and phrases. They always make an effort, and they are genuinly happy for me :-) And they love Halil, which makes me happy too.
And I am sorry for the people who has friends that has been pre-judgemental about their relationships. Not ONE of my good friends has ever said anything negative about either one of my two relationships there. Some of them came to Turkey to visit us, and everyone has been great when he has been here, never said anything negative about him or the fact that I met him in Alanya. My best friend had a long talk with him about the Kurdish/Turkish subject, and I have never heard one negative word from any of my friends. When I said I was engaged, everyone congratulated me, even though in Norwegian eyes- it was very early.

I would say I am so lucky.. But am I really? Or is my family and friends just behaving like family and friends is supposed to do when you are happy? They are. They are behaving exactly like if I was together with someone from Norway, exactly like they did with my Norwegian ex, they are happy for me, as family and friends should be. Cause who has the right to judge just cause you are together with someone from Turkey, Kurdistan, Afghanistan or China? If you are happy, it should be all that matters.
